I am so excited to share this list with you. One day I was wondering what restaurants sell vegan and vegetarian foods around PEI and I googled it. I was a bit disappointed to not find a good list to help me make up my mind. If you are in the same situation, I got your back.
I asked all the vegan and vegetarian Islanders for their favourite places to eat around PEI and here is the full list of restaurants and cafes that offer vegan and vegetarian food. Today’s post is all about good food that is also good for the planet.

You can find fresh produce, vegetarian and vegan meals, using fresh certified organic vegetables grown and harvested on their own, and other island farms. The Farmacy is also PEI's first and only Kombucha Tap Room, offering refillable bottles, kombucha by the glass, flights, cocktails and mocktails. They make their own fermented foods too like tempeh, kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles, and hot sauce.

“Our dishes usually contain Chickpea tofu, it is made from chickpea, not soybeans as usual. Chickpea helps prevent hyperthyroidism, which can be encountered when eating tofu made from soybeans. We use Kangen water for cooking, taken from a Kangen water machine (The Leveluk Super501) at the restaurant. It produces ionized alkaline and acidic waters through electrolysis.”- Bao Tran.
