5 Design Resources for Eco Businesses and Bloggers

As a graphic designer, I understand how important it is to have a great arsenal of tools to assist in the content creation process for busy businesses and bloggers. I understand it isn’t always in the budget or time frame to craft everything from scratch, and that’s why I created this list of five great design resources for green businesses and bloggers.

Zero Waste Creative Graphics

One of my main goals for this website is to create as many graphics as I can for sustainable bloggers and eco-friendly businesses.

I create easy-to-use graphics for social media, e-book templates, minimalist icons, and illustrations for creators and business owners to utilize. For most of them, you do not need an editing program, but it is possible to pass them off to someone who does to make full use of their customizable potential. I also offer custom professional services for your business needs, send me an email to inquire further.

Creative Market

Although there are not many graphics around the sustainability topic, there is a growing number of eco-friendly graphics — especially on Creative Market. I have included some of my favourite artists who sell their vector graphics, images, and icons on Creative Market below for you to check out

I love these watercolour zero waste illustrations from Soft Muse Art

If you like the watercolor aesthetic, check out Natalia Fedorova’s illustrations as well. These illustrations are great for decorations on your blog, social media and newsletter.

Creative Fabrica

Creative Fabrica is another great resource based out of Amsterdam. Their main goal is to provide exceptional resources for your projects at a fair price. The site offers a fixed-price monthly subscription for designers, crafters, and creatives to download what they need when they need it! There are a TON of fonts and graphic assets for businesses, cut files, and embroidery designs for crafters. All available to use with a commercial license included in the monthly fee. If you are interested, you can sign up here.

Creative Fabrica also offers print-on-demand assets and bundle packages to suit your one-time use needs. Whether it be a unique font for your new logo, or a design to program into your circuit for a new project, this site has something for you!

Did I mention how the PRICES ARE AMAZING?!

Here is an example of what type of illustrations you can find there. This beautiful minimalist illustration is from setiawanarief111. His style is very clean and illustrates creative scenes related to sustainability and a zero-waste lifestyle.

Here are a few examples of what you can find on Creative Fabrica.

Scopio

This female-founded stock image site aims to break down barriers and bring access to the world of creativity. If you are in need of ahead of the trend, fresh and authentic imagery, this will be a great new resource for you. If you like my photography style and are interested in hiring me for your blog or business, you can check out my Scopio profile here.

If you are a professional or amateur photographer, you need to check it out too. The site is 100% free for anyone to submit images and you are paid every time your photos get published by companies. Some of Scopio’s top photographers are reported to make over $2000 per month.

Adobe Stock

Adobe Stock is my to-go place for minimalist photography. It also comes with my Adobe Creative Suite. You can search for style-specific imagery by subject, colour, and keywords to find relevant imagery for your content or website use.

For photographers, Adobe Stock will pay you a 33% commission for photos and a 35% commission on videos once approved, based on how much the customer paid for the image. If you have some images hanging around, I strongly recommend you upload them to Adobe for an easy passive income opportunity!
